Valentine BUNKO Fundraiser for The Bridge Down East | 2pm – 5:30pm
The Beaufort Woman’s Club invites you to a fun-filled afternoon of Bunko at the lovely Moonrakers Restaurant on the Beaufort waterfront. The event benefits The Bridge Downeast – Ramsey Centert who not only provide after-school activities and tutoring but also teen and senior events for the community. Bunko is a very easy game of luck, no skill needed! If you can count to 21 you can play bunko! Limited to 60 players so buy tickets early! Refreshments will be available and a cash wine bar. A luncheon will be held at Clawson’s 3rd-floor dining area for our guest author, Kristina McMorris.  Kristin is a New York Times and USA Today best-selling author with five historical novels to her credit that have won 10 prestigious awards.  Her latest book, Sold on a Monday, has already received rave reviews. She will be joined by Beaufort resident and well-known author, Kristy Harvey, for a delightful lunch and discussion.

The Mattie King Davis Art Gallery will feature artists Vicki Mann and Brook Penick.

Crystal Coast Christmas Flotilla

The Crystal Coast Christmas Flotilla features boats, yachts, oars, kayaks and commercial vessels decorated for the season. The decorated boats can be seen at 5:30 p.m. on the Morehead City waterfront and at 6:15 p.m. on the Beaufort waterfront. Boats may register to participate in the Flotilla by phone or mail, and until noon on Saturday, December 1, at the North Carolina Maritime Museum Store. All decorated boats are judged and prizes for excellence and creativity are awarded at the Awards Party after the Flotilla in the Harvey W. Smith Watercraft Center located across the street from the museum. Cash prizes will be awarded! Entry fee to participate. 252.728.7317. Beaufort Wine and Food is celebrating its fifth annual Oyster Roast, taking place at Beau Coast, off Lennoxville Road from 2 – 5 p.m. Saturday, November 3rd.
The gathering celebrates the bounty of Eastern NC cuisine and will feature local steamed oysters, shrimp and other seafood selections along with North Carolina pork and poultry.
Proceeds from the event benefit organizations that serve Carteret County.

Beaufort’s Brewin’ Craft Beer Festival

Beaufort Wine and Food is gearing up for their second annual Beaufort’s Brewin’Craft Beer Festival. The two-day festival will run September 29-30 and will feature a variety of seminars, luncheons and dinners. The highlight of the festival is the large crowd favorite, Beer Bubbles & BBQ, on Saturday at Front Street Village. The festival will focus on North Carolina craft breweries and brew pubs, with a sampling from across the state.
